Meet Sarah Joy Hughan

Sarah was fortunate to be raised by the ocean by health-conscious parents, with her little sister watching closely as she found her rhythm. After a lifetime immersed in professional dance and athletics, she turned her passion toward studying journalism and performance studies, alongside modelling, before later expanding into health coaching and training as a yoga and Pilates instructor.

Not without her own daily health challenges, Sarah deeply empathises with those trying to find the time, energy, and resources to do it all — and to feel amazing while doing so. Life is short, after all, and time waits for no one.

Grounded in gratitude for her life and experiences, Sarah’s deepest wish is now to be of service — cheerleading others to live their best lives. And so, Mode Movement was born.

     Putting yourself first is such a flex. It doesn’t mean you’re not loving, thoughtful, generous, and kind - it simply means you love yourself (kinda rare in this day and age!). Sarah knows what’s important to each person is different, and discovering/establishing what works for you is an exciting and soul-nourishing experience for anyone. Whether your focus is nutrition, mindset, fitness, community, spirituality, or something outside the box, Sarah’s encouraging and non-judgmental nature will ensure you flourish. And what a feeling that will be.

     Have you always wanted to try yoga or Pilates but feel nervous or intimidated to attend classes? Or perhaps just simply prefer a more personal approach where all the attention is on you, maximising your workout. Sarah’s warm yet practical hands-on approach will get you loving moving your body, grounding in the moment, and floating on air the rest of your day. Treat yourself.

     Sarah loves to say life’s a catwalk. Have you ever secretly wished you could learn the art of runway? Even if you’ve no intention of being a professional model. Or walk into a room and make heads turn, without saying a word? Or maybe it is that when you do, you hold a conversation with a quiet knowing you are being heard? Or perhaps your ambitions are a little bolder - learn how to pose for a photoshoot, address your peers at a public speaking event, or prepare for a live broadcast interview - Sarah will support you with all the tools and tricks of the trade to *fake it until you make it, whatever guidance you’re seeking.
